Articulation Disorder
An Articulation Disorder occurs when children have difficulty saying certain sounds. For example, “won” for “run” or “fin” for “thin”. Difficulty with speech sounds can affect a child’s ability to be understood which leads to frustration.
Phonological Disorder

A Phonological Disorder occurs when children produce errors in sound patterns. They may leave off ending sounds “bi” for “bike”; or replace a sound that should be made in the back of the mouth to the front of the mouth “tat” for “cat”.
